About Dar...

Darlene is an infopreneur at heart. Having worked with so many people in her various careers, she saw needs out there and found ways to make a difference -- in her own way.

Darlene is founder of Rat Race Remedies.com -- and author of Rat Race Blues for Women.

Her inspiration? She began to notice the connection between debt and the level of unhappiness at work.

Not only did she learn this through her own experience, but with coworkers. Many were unhappy and disappointed in their jobs -- but would stay working there anyway because they were in debt.

To add fuel to the fire, budgets didn't seem to work for many of these same people. Some had tried budgets throughout their lifetime, and some had drawn a line in the sand and said there'd be no more budgets...

Darlene's first thought was, "Can they be helped?"

Her second thought was, "How can they be helped -- even if they're not willing to go the 'budget' route again?"

With motivation, simple strategies and her own lessons learned, Darlene now offers a gentle way out of the debt so other women can have a choice in what they do for a living.

They'll find they can live on much less, and it opens the door so they can seek out work or careers they can enjoy -- rather than work that does nothing but bring home the paychecks.

Darlene is a graduate of Sanford-Brown Business College. She's a lifelong learner and is most often found reading, writing, studying, typing or otherwise creating something fun to share with others. Her most recent creation is "Goodbye Boss, Hello Kids!"
